YOUR ROLE 

As a Content Intern, you'll participate in shaping and invigorating social communities across diverse channels, using your creative abilities to engage audiences daily. Whether you lean towards content management or creation, your collaboration with strategy, account, and creative teams will be key in developing and executing innovative social media concepts and tactics. With a digital-native mindset and a passion for diverse cultural subjects, you'll adeptly initiate conversations, adjusting your approach to different scenarios. Your skills extend beyond words, encompassing the fluency to convey messages visually through graphic design, photography, videography, animated GIFs, short videos, and captivating memes. This opportunity allows you to seamlessly capture the essence of brand voices and navigate through various brand personas, marking your impact in the dynamic intersection of online engagement and creative storytelling.

YOUR MISSION 

  • Monitor conversation on channels such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Reddit, Threads, X, Google Business Profiles and Pinterest;
  • Engage with fans, influencers and publications. Not just answering questions, but creating moments to extend brand love with faves, shares, etc.;
  • Schedule and publish social assets;
  • Identify quick-turnaround reactive opportunities, trends and cultural moments;
  • Surface themes and ideate larger ideas based on observations in the community, and contribute to a running list of brand-centric behaviours;
  • Help the content team brainstorm for larger campaigns, bringing the audience perspective to all ideas;
  • Monitor clients’ social handles via social listening tools and native platform analytics for top-line insights.

YOUR EXPERTISE 

  • Degree and/or experience in an appropriate discipline;
  • An impressive understanding of social media. You don’t need to have 50K TikTok or Instagram followers, but – you are connected, cultured & curious of the social space;
  • Graphic design, photography and video skills are an asset;
  • Knowledge of social media and technical proficiency with these platforms: 
    • TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest
  • Familiarity with the Adobe suite considered an asset;
  • Knowledge of local market;
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

  • Work 35 hours per week, leaving you time to enjoy life outside of work.
