PROPEL YOUR TALENT

Sid Lee offers you the opportunity to change the world through creativity and the chance to pursue your ambitions to the fullest. We invite you to join us in creating what truly matters. As an intern at Sid Lee, you will experience real agency life. You will be involved in pitches, briefs, creative work, but most importantly, you will make a difference within a collective of individuals who share the same ambitions. Real clients. Real briefs. Real impact.

YOUR ROLE: ART DIRECTOR INTERN

As an Art Director Intern at Sid Lee, you'll team up with a Copywriter to shape ideas visually and bring your creative vision to life. You bring a strong point of view, a sharp eye, and a curiosity for how visuals live in culture today.

You’re excited by the challenge of turning ideas into striking visual systems, moments, and stories across platforms. Whether you’re sketching concepts, building decks, or helping guide an execution, you’re eager to explore how design, craft, and culture intersect.

YOUR MISSION

  • Contribute to the visual concepting and art direction of creative work across photography, film, animation, digital, and social
  • Collaborate with copywriters, designers, strategists, producers, and account teams throughout the creative process
  • Help develop visual ideas from initial thinking through execution
  • Create and refine visual assets, references, layouts, and presentation materials
  • Present creative concepts and participate in reviews and discussions
  • Bring fresh perspectives, curiosity, and experimentation to help evolve Sid Lee’s creative output

YOUR EXPERTISE

  • Currently studying or recently graduated in art direction, design, visual communication, or a related discipline — or equivalent creative experience
  • A strong interest in visual storytelling, concept development, and creative problem‑solving
  • Understanding of the creative process and how ideas move from concept to production
  • Familiarity with creative tools in a Mac environment (Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Awareness of production processes across different mediums (film, photography, digital, print, social)
  • Curious, collaborative, and open to feedback
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken

YOUR CONDITIONS

  • Work 35 hours per week, leaving you time to enjoy life outside of work
  • Work in beautiful downtown offices
  • Collaborate with incredible, diverse, creative, and smart colleagues
  • Be part of a culture that values diversity and inclusion, where every voice matters
  • Participate in various activities: parties, yoga, happy hours, lunch and learn sessions
  • Enjoy meals with our bistro that provides (on the house) breakfast and snacks, in addition to a free lunch on Tuesdays
  • Learn from your first day thanks to Sid Lee University, with 3 mornings of training to kickstart your adventure

YOUR APPLICATION

We’re looking for interns who bring something unexpected to the table. Give us a glimpse into your world by including the following:

  1. Your latest resume.
  2. A link to your portfolio (or attach a PDF).
  3. A creative execution, in any format you like.*
You know you’d crush it as a Sid Lee intern — now show us why! Submit your response in any format that feels true to how you’d like to express your idea.

Note: This isn’t a traditional “answer the question” assignment, and it doesn’t need to be an explanation. We’re interested in how you think, what you notice, and how you turn an idea into something tangible. Follow your curiosity and make something you’d stand behind!

Using AI as part of your creative process is absolutely welcome.

*With your permission, Sid Lee may feature selected creative executions submitted as part of this application on our social media channels or other Sid Lee platforms, always with credit to you.

Submit all your documents in the designated space below.
The deadline to submit your application is February 28, 2026.

Good luck!
